Captain America(Steve Rogers)

I was having a hard time picking out what topic I wanted to do for this quiz, so I decied to play off the other big site I made about my favorite superheroes and talk about the hero I left out. And with his 75th Birthday and new movie coming up I decied to make this site about my third favorite hero, Captain America.

The Beginning of Captain America

Captain America was created by Joe Simon and Jack Kirby in 1940. His first apperance would be in March 1941 in Captain America Comics #1.  At the time it would be published by Timley Comics who would later become Marvel Comics. His comic would be extremley popular throughout the war and late 40s but in 1950 his book would be canncelled. We wouldn't see Captain America in a big way til 1964.  Captain America also known as Steve Rogers was given super soilder serum and made into a patroic superhero fighting the Axis during World War II, he would wear his famous red, whtie and blue costume and carry his mighty shield.

Avengers and Beyond

In 1964 Captain America would make his big come back in a little book called Avengers. In Avengers the team would find the Captain frozen in ice, once thawed the Captain America would quickly take leadership of the team. After that issue Cap would become a main stay in the Marvel Comic Universe becoming the Avengers off and on leader and getting his own solo series.
In 2011 he would receive his first big block buster movie, Captain America: The First Avenger, where he would be played by Chris Evans. The movie would spin off two sequels Captain America: The Winter Soilder and Capitan America Civil War.
